My daughter recently celebrated her 12th Birthday.  She and I decided that I would take her and 2 friends out for a girls day.  Nothing unusual and nothing I haven't done before, except, I decided to make it an all day event since they were out of school on a Friday.  What was I thinking????  A close friend of mine offered her theatre room for a segment of the day.  The party now jumped from 2 friends to 4.  My mind started spinning with goodie bag idea, craft projects for the girls, breakfast menus, movie selections, movie snack bags, and a few late nights pulling this together.  I even penciled in what time I wanted to be in bed when it was all said and done.  No matter what went wrong during the course of the day (and you know it did) when I got in bed, all I thought about was how my daughter and her friends had a GREAT time. It was a day filled with food, laughter, dancing, singing, ipods, looming bracelets and way too many snacks.  Now, on to my projects:

Full Table Spread.  The blue bags in front are the movie snack bags.  Each letter represents a girl, so the bags say:
Sijibomi's Snacks, Mel's Munchies, Carrington's Cravings, and Isys' Indulgences.

Altered Gift Bag.  Patterned Paper and Rose Ribbon is from Hobby Lobby's product line.
Prima Doll adorns the tag.  Colored with Copic Markers.

What's a cute bag with no goodies?  Inside the bag were large Sweet Tarts, Mini Clipboard, Large Clothespin, and a Skinny 16oz Tumbler.  The girls were extra excited about their tumbler.

Last but not least, a nice thank you card.  One parent said, how do the girls come with a gift and leave your house with one too.

This post is also my favorite post of the week for the 'Anything Goes Bloggers Challenge" on Scraps of Color.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by.  Stay tuned for more projects and and have a GREAT weekend!
