LATE EDITION - Mini Album Monday

Good Morning All & Happy Holidays to Everyone!!!!

I've been so busy that I haven't been posting.  I've completed a few mini album, Christmas cards, and some birthday cards.  This past July/Aug., I had the pleasure of spending a few days in Jamaica with my sister.  We are attempted to rekindle our biannual girls trip. This mini album is the first one I completed with the actual photos!  I'm stoked.  The album is called Mr. Benjamin and can be purchased from Kathy King over at Paper Phenomenon.

Here are a few pics of the album:

Good Evening Family, Friends, Followers and Fellow Crafters,

I had some fun doing a Construction themed baby shower.  Some of these idea are not my original idea, but what mom-to-be found and asked me to recreate. It was too cute and I hope I made her shower a success.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a GREAT week!

It's Purge Time!!!

Good Morning Family, Friends, Followers and Fellow Crafters,

When 2016 started, I proclaimed that I would purge and clean the Cafe, by the end of the year.  I have so many things I thought I needed, thought I would use, or just purchased because it was the "it" thing to have in that moment.  I went through several pieces of furniture and room arrangements.  As of today, I think I'm on my way.  I caved and got the Ikea Kallax system to convert to a desk, as shown on the Ikea Hacks website.  I wanted this for 3 years now and just went for it.  Enough blabbering until I get it all done.

Right now, I want to offer the following used items for sale, to my local (MD/DC/VA) crafters.  The sooner you take it away, the better.  LOL!!

ITEM 1:  30 shelf paper holder.  2 racks are missing (28 paper slots).  $100, OBO

ITEM 2:  Ikea wall cabinets (less than 2 years old).  EXCELLENT condition.  If you know Ikea, than you know that each piece was purchased separately.

Large cabinet: $80 each
Narrow cabinet: $40
Purchase all 3: $185

2 Large cabinets

1 Narrow cabinet.  Shelf never opened and can be purchased for an additional $5.00

Here is how I had them on the wall:

ITEM 3:  Ikea Malm Desk with pull out panel.   Asking price $60.  This desk does have a craft scar.  You will also need to purchase screws to connect the pull out panel.  panel rail included.
Size: 59 1/2 x 25 5/8 "

Craft scar on the corner

ITEM 4:  Jetmax Cubes $5 each.  1 with glass door, 1 paper slot, 2 4 drawers cubes (white replacement handles will be given) and 1 cube with 2 paper slots and 2 drawers.

Some of the cubes may have 3 small holes in them from a time with they were attached to the tabletops.

ITEM 5:  Item display rack. $50, OBO.  Clamps and hooks included.  This stands approximately 6ft tall.

I think that is everything for now! All the big stuff anyway.  Send me an email and let me know what you'd like to purchase and when you can pick it up.  PAYPAL or CASH ONLY!

Have a GREAT weekend!  Oh wait, I guess I can show you a little progress on the Cafe overhaul.
Ikea Kallax sytem.  I still haven't unwrapped the tabletops.  See all that ribbon in the window?  It has a new home below.

OK, that is all for now!

Mini Album Monday...Foto Folder 1

Good Morning Family, Friends, Followers and Fellow Crafters,

It's been awhile but I am back with another edition of Mini Album Monday.  Today's project is not your typical mini album, but it called a Foto Folder.  The genius behind this project is Kathy King over a Paper Phenomenon.  You can pick up this tutorial and more, on her site.  Click HERE.

It's been a long time since I've been this excited about a project.  I absolutely LOVE this thing and I hope you will too. (Pic  heavy)

I'll be back in a week or 2, with the next installation (Foto Folder 2), of this set.  Thank you for stopping by and have a GREAT week!

June Planner Page Week 4: Whitney Houston

Good Morning Family, Friends, Followers and Fellow Crafters.

This week before the ink. Whitney's debut album (yes I said album) was the first music I purchased with my own money. I was 10. It remains to be my favorite of all her body of work.  Next week I'll be featuring my favorite group of all time.  Anyone want to take a guess at who it is?

Have a GREAT week and thanks for stopping by!

Father's Day 2016

Good Afternoon Family, Friends, Followers and Fellow Crafters,

We had a low key father's day yesterday BUT for the first time ever, I snuck in some time to make hubby some cards.  I feel bad when my family receives a store bought card from me.  I enjoy making cards but I don't always have the time.  I left the kids' card blank on the inside, so they could write their own personalized note.

Thanks for stopping by and have a GREAT week!

I'm All About that Planner Life

Good Morning Family, Friends, Followers & Fellow Crafters,

I thought I posted that I joined the Planner lifestyle... Let me tell you, I was running from this since January but I soon thought this could help me out and look cute.  I've always carried a calendar in my purse, that I bought from Target every year.  Towards the end of last year, I put together a budget binder (8.5 x 11).  I couldn't possibly carry that around BUT I needed a way to combine everything and here comes the Happy Planner.  I think a few of my crafty friends wore me down too.

So, in honor of Black Music Month (June), here are some pages from my planner before the ink.
Week 1:  Prince

Week 2:  Gladys Knight

Week 3:  New Edition

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Have a GREAT weekend!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!!

Good Morning Family, Friends, Followers and Fellow Crafters,

Long time no post, eh?  It's been quite challenging managing life.  When I last left off, we were ending basketball season and now we are nearing the end of soccer season.  I love that my children are active and it is something managing all our various commitments.

Oh, here's something new.  I have joined the Planner Lifestyle band wagon.  I tried to fight it and was winning for four months, but alas, I have caved!!  I must admit, I like it.  I just started my calendar this week.  I'll share my first 2 layouts before the ink, next week.

It's TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK!!! I never want to miss out on an opportunity to bless my children's teachers.  A special shout out to my son's math teacher, Mr. Dudley.  He is AWESOME!!! He's had sooo many personal challenges this school year but he keeps his classes fired up about math!!

Do you know what this Saturday is??  It's NATIONAL SCRAPBOOKING DAY!!!!!!  I'll be crafting from 12pm - 12am, with my crafty sisters.  I am looking forward to it.

Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you real soon!
